Monthly Coaching Calendar
Recent research (McIntosh, et. at) suggests that the sustability of PBIS is largely a result of having an effective leadership team that meets regularly and uses data to drive decision making.
Furthermore, Joyce and Showers (2002) found the following implementation with regard to coaching:
| Training Components | Knowledge of Content | Skill Implementation | Classroom Application |
| Presentation/Lecture | 10% | 5% | 0% |
| Plus Demonstration | 30% | 20% | 0% |
| Plus Practice | 60% | 60% | 5% |
| Plus Coaching/Admin Support/Data Feedback | 95% | 95% | 95% |

The PBIS Coaching Calendar is designed to increase effectiveness of coaching and team meetings and data feedback through monthly reminders and tools to help facilitate your team meetings. The calendar is not intended to be all-inclusive of all responsibilities by coaches and other PBIS team members, but will hopefully be seen as an asset in the planning and delivery of PBIS leadership in your school. Here is a printable version of the calendar. Each monthly link also provides useful tools you can print to assist your team.
