  • PBIS U100: Developing Your Tier 1 Universal System Day 1 and 2 WHEN: Thursday and Friday, September 20-21, 2012 8:30 am-3:30 pm (8:00 Registration) Both Days WHERE: CESA #4 Office, 923 East Garland Street, West Salem, WI 54669 AUDIENCE: Building administrator, external and internal coaches, regular education teachers that represent grade levels, special education teacher, social worker and/or psychologist, specials teacher, paraprofessional, and family members. PRESENTER: Kent Smith, MSSW, CISW, CSSW, Technical Assistance Coordinator, Wisconsin PBIS Network PREREQUISITE: Attended Administrative Overview Training and C100: Coaching and Administration Training DESCRIPTION: Day 1: Participants will learn the systems, data and practices imbedded in PBIS implementation. The team will draft school-wide Behavioral Expectations, create a Behavioral Matrix and plan for team development. Day 2: Participants will build on their work from Day 1 and will continue by developing an acknowledgement plan, developing a chart of office-managed versus classroom-managed behaviors, establishing procedures for a continuum of interventions, evaluating the efficiency of �working smarter� among school teams and creating a system for effective meetings. OBJECTIVES: Understand the essential components of school-wide positive support systems that provide behavior supports to all students. PLEASE BRING: Forms and processes related to discipline policy and practices; Discipline data; Laptop for team use (if possible) REGISTRATION: Cost is a one-time fee for ALL Tier I PBIS trainings (includes Aug. 7 Overview, Sept. 13 Coaching and Administration, Sept. 20-21 Universal Training Day 1 and 2 and Implementing PBIS in Your School� Date TBA).- $2200 per Building Team for first 2 teams from a School District (Limit of 6-8 per Building Team); $2000 per additional team; (Limit of 6-8 per Building Team) Additional fee applies if sending more than 8 per building team. Your registration costs will indicate $0 due. After your entire team has registered individually, CESA #4 will adjust Payment Due based on the number of building teams registered for your school district.Ã� One person per team will be billed the entire amount due.
